Andrew Gay is a trial lawyer specializing in complex litigation and tribunal work. He has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has extensive experience in public authority liability cases and complex tort litigation, as well as commercial and employment litigation, and administrative law. Andrew is the author of the chapter "Nuisance" in K. Horsman and G. Morley, eds., Government Liability: Law and Practice (Aurora: Canada Law Book, 2007).
Andrew is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia Law School where he teaches a course on government liability.
Andrew is a member of the Canadian Bar Association including the Civil Litigation and Administrative Law Subsections and is a member of two Canadian Bar Association (B.C.) Committees. He has acted as a moot court judge and has acted as a mentor to students at the University of British Columbia Law School. Andrew is a former member of the Vancouver-based Advocates Club.
