Lisa Phillips joined Gudmundseth Mickelson LLP after completing her articles at a large Vancouver law firm and following her call to the bar in 2009. Lisa practices in the fields of commercial and civil litigation.

Lisa graduated from the University of British Columbia law school in 2007. She was among the top-ranked students in her class, earning numerous prizes and scholarships for academic achievement, including the Stan Smith Memorial Prize in Contract Law, the Borden Ladner Gervais Prize in Property Law, a McCarthy Tetrault scholarship, and the Ted le Nobel Memorial Scholarship.

Following her graduation from law school, Lisa was selected to clerk for the British Columbia Supreme Court, which she did from 2007-2008. Lisa has appeared as counsel before the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Supreme Court. Lisa's experience includes representing clients in relation to professional negligence claims; shareholders' remedies and partnership disputes; and various employment law matters, including breach of fiduciary duty, wrongful dismissal, and human rights claims.
