Tom Barker

Tom is developing a broad civil litigation and dispute resolution practice with a focus on commercial, regulatory and administrative law. He joined the firm after practicing at a leading national business law firm in Vancouver.

Tom received his J.D. from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law with a specialization in Business Law. While at law school he participated in Dalhousie Legal Aid’s Tenants Rights project and provided pro bono legal assistance to refugees through the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia. Tom also received academic prizes in property law, secured transactions, alternative dispute resolution and international trade law.

Outside of the office, Tom enjoys attending concerts, hiking, watching soccer and playing strategy board games. He is also the acting secretary of a drop-in centre in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
