Represented veterinary regulator in discipline proceeding over emergency-response conduct

In CVBC v. Posnikoff, File No. 21-103, the Discipline Panel found that Dr. Janice Posnikoff engaged in discourteous, disrespectful or unprofessional behaviour in her response to an emergency involving a severely injured horse, contrary to s. 203(2) of the CVBC Bylaws. The Panel did not find the conduct sufficiently serious to constitute professional misconduct or conduct unbecoming. She was subsequently reprimanded, ordered to complete remedial education, and ordered to pay $28,154.92
