Obtained professional misconduct findings for veterinary record-keeping and non-cooperation

The Discipline Panel found that Dr. Pavitar Bajwa committed professional misconduct in connection with his treatment of a cat, finding significant deficiencies in his medical records, including inaccurate or inadequate documentation of medication dosages, pain medication, surgical drains and discharge instructions. The Panel also found that he failed to cooperate with the College’s investigation, despite repeated requests over several months, and concluded that both the record-keeping deficiencies and failure to cooperate represented significant departures from the standards expected of a registrant.
